    The Rescue Diver course is probably and surprisingly one of the most fun. The course is designed for advanced divers who are comfortable with their diving and wish to build on their abilities. Firstly your attention is focused on developing stronger self rescue skills. With stronger self rescue skills you are ready to learn how to help prevent problems occurring to other divers.


    Finally you learn advanced rescue skills, enabling you to render assistance to another diver should an emergency arise.  During the course you will cover -Self Rescue and Diver Stress. Diving First Aid and Emergency Management and Equipment.

    During the pool dives you will practice self rescue techniques and gain skills, which will enable you to assist or rescue another diver.

    During the open water dives you will combine and practice the skills and knowledge from the previous sessions and take part in several Rescue scenarios.

    The PADI Rescue Diver crewpak includes all materials required to complete the PADI Rescue Diver course. You�ll learn how to think like a rescue diver and preview skills you�ll practice with your PADI Instructor. Once your Rescue Diver course is complete, you can review the DVD to refresh your dive safety skills as needed. This tool box of knowledge and technique will give you the expertise to handle almost any emergency situation

    Prequisites

    PADI Adventure Diver
    12 Years Old or Above
    Be First AID with CPR trained within last 24 months (see below for Emergency First Response Courses)

      • EFR  Emergency First Response   - Suitable for non divers  as no dive certification is required and ther is no minimum age limit.

        Whether you're a diver or a non-diver, Emergency First Response prepares you to properly handle potentially life-threatening situations. EFR gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and First Aid.
        For divers this course satisfies your PADI Rescue Diver CPR requirements, covering Primary Care and Secondary Care.

        Together, these courses proved extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as well as providing Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Emergency Oxygen Training.
        Courses are conducted over two evenings or one full day, with emphasis being placed on "hands on" experience using mannequins.
